I love these children so much!

It is busy here at our house with 49 kids! But they spread a lot of love and joy and I love being here even though there is a lot of work and some days I am exhausted ... We get up 4:30 every day. Wait to fill the tub with water that is from only one tapp! (at least 2 days a week we lost water or electricity so then it's real messy!) Then wash themselves, find their school uniforms among 90 different elements that are in a mess , eat breakfast and then 30 min walk to school. Then home, bathe, wash all uniforms and other clothes, polishing school shoes, homework, prayer, dinner, wash dishes, clean the house, prepare all the mattresses lying on the floor (soon we get our beds!) Find all the sheets, find clothes, find the toothbrush and in the end the best on all day ... give goodnight hug to 49 children!! Love, love, love

Ibrahim, Tumusimi and Edgar.

Are you from Africa you should be able to carry things on your head, so when we have been shopping I tell all the kids to practice ... haha

Sending a big hug to all of you at home and around the world who are reading this. I am extremely fortunate  to be a part of these children's lives. What a blessing from God. It's a hard job to take care of 49 children, but I'm so happy and these children give me so much joy and love. Sending love even to you all and God bless you too for being a part of this and for helping these little angels to get a better life!

The laundry is never ending, but now have an fantastic person donated a washing machine for us so that the children do not have to wash by hand anymore. So now they can play or do other things instead. Want to give them more quality in their childhood instead of all this hard work they have all the time and have had during their time living as street children.

Rivera

Haha, this boy took lot of hairs from me after several children had been playing hairdresser with my hair and put them on his head! So now he's a real "Muzungo" my beloved son!

I bought some new toys and all children are so happy! 3 games, 3 hula hoops, 5 jump rope and 2 balls. It's not so much, but they share with each other and have so much fun!

I even got a donation to paper and colored pencils to all the children's great joy!! (when they love to paint and draw cartoons.) I now have a whole bag full of nice pictures that they paint to me...

I love to see their joy in their faces!!!
